Trash don’t waste your money, very lightweight even for a small umbrella

Just Part E, the 2 long straight support brackets, need to be tightened with an Alan Wrench. Use a regular wrench to hold onto the nut while tightening with the Alan Wrench. I didn't tighten the others, cuz Im not sure that's necessary, so that it glides smoothly. But at least now it doesn't wobble. I know these tips might seem basic & instinct to some, but to me, it's NOT. I'm "tool challenged". I have some tools, but I don't know how to use them, really. Hope this helps someone else.

This was helpful, cuz it let me know that the screws & bolts should be hand tightened first, and the whole thing will glide nicely, but be wobbly. Then go back & tighten with an Alan wrench. Off to do that now.

hmm now im even more confused. mine came with an extra plastic piece that i have no idea what to do with. its not shown in the diagrams and came here to see what to do with it. its not in your video.

Are we sure that with this stand, the hammock chair will swing freely? To me, it looks like free swinging will be obstructed by he hammock stand.

Please read before going further. I'm not sure what brand our umbrella is but my wife bought it at Big Lots. I watched this video because it looks identical to the one we have. So my advice may or may not apply to yours. If not, I'm sorry and good luck. Alright, basically with those little filler pieces in the top of the initial 12" piece that bolted to the base it should tighten up to the point of not wobbling. Kinda pushes them to one side which was what I was wanting to find out about but regardless the pole is tight so I'm guessing that's the way it goes. Anyways here's what I did So I took the 3 fillers out(in the video she popped out 1) in of the initial 12" piece and I lined up the little tab on all 3 of them then made sure that tab was in front of the screw when I tightened it. Tightened it up no problem and still have close to 1/2" of threads showing. If it still wobbles try spinning that initial 12" piece on tighter with the pole in place. Also make sure the main pole is in the little cup/sleeve space inside the bottom of the base. That keeps the bottom most part of the pole from moving around. You can see it by looking inside the initial 12" piece. The rest is pretty basic. Take it down on windy days. Don't just rely in closing it. Wind will still toss it around. Hope something here helps someone and if anyone knows about those fillers and if they go in differently than I put them in, with the tab in front of the screw hole, please let me know. I picked up this same base today. I was going to return it after I couldn't get that bolt to tighten the pole. The tube was loose and was leaning. The tube did not screw on tightly in the first time like it shows in this video. I had to screw and un screw the bolt a few times before it fully screwed in and tightened the tube (like it shows in the video). Just a tip for anyone else who struggled like me.

I did it with the Woodprix plans.

Make it wooden with the help of the Woodglut instructions.

There are many similar projects in Stodoys's plans.

Very misleading. You cannot get the bolt tight no matter what to keep the tube from becoming loose. We tried 2 different tubes and neither one will stay tight.
